The iJoy Maxo is the first ever quadruple 18650 box mod, but it will also work with just two battery cells. Ijoy took 6 months to develop this mod which features up to 315 watts of power and temperature control. It is available in red, yellow, golden, black or a more expensive limited edition blue.
The Maxo has dimensions of 64mm x 41mm x 89mm, weighs 0.23kg and is made from zinc alloy materials. The mod features a simple, yet practical design and can be customized with the included leather stickers to ensure your favorite appearance. The mod was designed to be easy to hold and be as compact as possible with four 18650 cells.
At the top of the high powered box mod, there’s a durable stainless steel threaded 510 connection bezel which is made with a spring-loaded center pin for easy installs of atomizers, builds or tanks.
The Maxo utilizes four 18650 batteries to give it the ability to put out 315 watts over extended periods, without frequent recharges. Two cells can also be used inside the mod but, at this time, we are uncertain of the maximum wattage with dual batteries. Batteries are loaded from the bottom and are stored behind a hinged battery door that has clear indicators for positive/negative and features gold plated contacts. At this point, it is also unknown whether the device supports on board charging, but is always recommended to charge batteries externally for safety and battery durability.
On the control face, you’ll find an over-sized fire button, two adjustment buttons and an OLED screen that has never been easier to read or operate. The screen was made to be simple, yet effective with indicators for resistance, voltage, power levels, wattage, mode and more. The display can also be rotated 180 degrees for left handed use or if you prefer a different viewing angle.
The chip that powers the Maxo is designed by IWEPAL which allows for a massive 315 watts of power and the ability to fire atomizers all the way down to 0.06Ω. The mod is also built with temperature control functionality that supports stainless steel, nickel and titanium coil wire.
On the side of the unit, you will find a USB port which can be used for future firmware upgrades. This allows for updating the operating system, the menu system or perhaps increase maximum output in the future.
