The Central Park at Memorial (610 Loop) is opened in 1924, and it covers approximately 1,466 acres mostly within the 610 Loop area. It’s across from the Memorial neighborhood. Memorial Drive runs through the park, heading east to downtown Houston and west to 610 Loop.

The park was initially designed by Kansas City landscape architects Hare & Hare.
